치아 스케일링은 통상적으로 6개월에 1회를 권장합니다.

스케일링 하는데 피가나요! 정상인가요?
I'm bleeding when I scale! Is it normal?
1년에 2회정도씩 제때 스케일링을 받고 있으면 피가 나는 경우가 잘 없습니다.
하지만 그렇지 않다면, 피가 날 수 있기는 합니다만, 보통 하루면 피가 멈추게 됩니다.

잇몸이 내려간것은 치석이 가리고 있던 퇴축된 잇몸이 드러나 그렇게 보여질 수 있습니다.

스케일링 후 담배를 피워도 되나요?

스케일링 때문이 아니라, 다른 많은 이유로도 금연을 하시는게 좋습니다.
스케일링을 하게되면 치석을 떼어내어 틈이 생기기 때문에 담배를 피우게되면
염증이 일어나거나 치아가 변색될 수있습니다.
