이 환자분께서는 아래턱이 윗턱보다 발달된

3급 부정교합으로, 이른바 주걱턱을 교정하고 싶어하셨습니다.

수술없이 주걱턱 교정을 할 수 있을 것으로 보였습니다.

환자분의 치아 크기, 형태, 특성을 파악하여

치아를 이동시킬 방향을 결정하고, 그에맞게 브라켓을 부착하고

와이어 연결을 했습니다. 이제 본격적인 교정이 시작될 예정입니다.

3급 부정교합은 교정후에 다시 원위치로 돌아가는 성향이 강하기 대문에

빠르게 하는것보다 시간을 들여서 교정을 잘 하도록 하였습니다.

시간이 흘러서 교정이 마무리되었습니다.

초기의 부정교합 상태를 전혀 떠올릴 수 없을만큼

아주 고르고 예쁜 치열이 완성되었습니다. 

문제가되었던 덧니와 총생, 임플란트까지 잘 마무리가되었네요.
